liquid gold Ice wine is considered to be the most exclusive kind of wine, simply because it require both a warm summer that allow the grapes to fully mature, but also a harsh winter. When temperature drop below minus -7°C, then the grape harvest can begin. The frozen semidried grapes are pressed and the sugarrich and flavourful golden nectar is cold-fermented approximately for 6-months. The typical aroma of dried apricot,honey, vanilla, almond flower and sweet plums makes this all natural-wine unique and complex. Since our first vintage 2001, Blaxsta have received several gold medals at the International Wine World Challenge for times. Our latest Grand Gold was 2019 for our Vidal ice wine select harvest 2016 and was awarded an impressive 99.3p (Parker)
