Kung Blacke Restaurant

Awarded by Chaine des Rotisseurs and the White Guide, Kung Blacke is an intimate but idyllic evening restaurant surrounded by lakes, fields, vineyards and the occasional ducks and sheep that live on our farm. Serving hyper-seasonal tasting menus, we invite you to a gastronomic adventure in a relaxing atmosphere.

Every night is unique

Our 6 course tasting menu is immersive and constantly changing. It focuses on seasonal produce, creative cooking, influenced by Swedish ingredients and what we can grow and cultivate on our farm. The ability to have our own farm animals, pick mushrooms, herbs and edible weeds in our backyard and forest has shaped our cuisine to be a true local snapshot of our area.

For us taste and consistency is of paramount importance. We work with many producers’ and suppliers from around the world, many of whom are now our friends, to acquire ingredients at their highest quality.

The Maître Restaurateur and award-winning winemaker Goran Amnegard creates food and wine in symbiosis. With Goran Amnegard’s experience in the industry, the wine pairing menu is precisely equally weighted. Be prepared to taste rare and unique wines, including our wines from our winery but also from selected wineries around the world.

The Chef

Göran Amnegard, head chef and owner at Kung Blacke, started his culinary journey at age 11 by smashing his piggy bank to buy “The Great Cookbook of the French Kitchen” and learning how to debone a quail and fillet a fish. Since then he has won awards for his culinary expertise including winning the chef awards in Canada and has also appeared as a guest chef at several michelin star restaurants. He has always had a passion towards his Scandinavian roots which is reflected in his food. Focusing on modern nordic cuisine, indulging nature and its natural flavours and presenting it in a creative way.

“All food is good, as long as you cook it great”
