A restaurant visit consists of much more than good food. Seemingly many little trifles which together result in a soothing gastronomic enjoyment of life where everything from sitting in the beautiful back-friendly chairs, views, design, environment, service, food and harmony is only a few of the ingredients needed for the meal should be more memorable.

One of our passions is to lift up the authentic local, fresh and seasonal vegetables and served with fantastic produce from the meadow, forest, field and garden plot. Around the restaurant, we grow much of the old rustic vegetable plants that existed at the time of Linnaeus, such as tiger nut, havreror, sugar, carrots, wild turnips, ostronört and more. I botanize forward in our classic food heritage and are looking for flavors and ingredients that are cooked and presented in more modern forms. Our famous tasting menus composed specifically for each chosen company of new and exciting taste sensations. So, join us on our journey, where we continue with our rustic, earthy and genuine style, with very Swedish tastes and ingredients. The most important thing for us is that you as visiting stands in the center and feel the warmth, caring and the ‘feel-good’ that is so important to enjoy the meal.

In April 2005, we opened Blaxsta Restaurant Kung Blacke. A small charming countryside restaurant for gastronomic experiences. The restaurant is a renovated 1700-century building with 11 associated exclusive double bedrooms and a grand weddingsuite. The restaurant is a member of the French restaurant company “Chaine desRotisseurs” and “White Guide 2012”.

All rooms have lakeview, en suite shower/toilet, broadband access, etc.. The dining room is comfortable and has room for 36 guests. We create a new menu for each event and we specialize in local and fresh seasonal primeurs. In addition to our homegrown vegetables and herbs, we also breed organic freerange lambs, ducks and chickens.
